Farm Ores from Other Mods

Botany Pots Ore Planting works with ores added by other mods. If another mod adds an ore and its corresponding ingot, you can typically farm it.

Prepare Your Materials

Locate the mineral block and ingot from the mod you want to farm. These follow the same naming convention as vanilla ores (for example, if a mod adds "tin ore," it usually has a tin block and tin ingot).

Plant the Modded Ore

1. Place your Botany Pot

2. Open the pot's interface

3. Add the modded mineral block as soil

4. Add the matching modded ingot as seed

Harvest

Right-click when ready. You'll receive the exact drops the mod's ore block normally gives—respecting the mod's own drop tables and fortune mechanics.

Not every mod ore may be supported; if planting fails, the mod author may not have added compatibility for that specific ore.
