Summoning Your First Plants

Begin by collecting seed packets from dungeon chests, mineshafts, temples, shipwrecks, or villages. You can also trade with Farmer villagers and Wandering Traders. Once you have seeds, gather sun points—these are your resource for summoning plants.

Place a seed packet down when you have enough sun to match its cost. Your plant will automatically target and attack nearby hostile mobs like zombies, skeletons, spiders, and illagers. Different plants cost different amounts of sun; basic shooters cost 6-10 sun, while specialized units like the Cob Cannon cost significantly more.

For Garden Warfare units, right-click to cycle between follow, stay, wander, and turret modes. This lets you control whether your plants move with you, hold position, roam freely, or lock in place as stationary defenses.
