Set up boss tracking for a large modpack

Checking mod compatibility

Before starting your modpack, verify which mods are supported by the addon. The mod tracks bosses from Alex's Caves, Ice and Fire, Botania, Born in Chaos, L_Ender's Cataclysm, and DivineRPG among others. If your modpack includes these, the addon will automatically add their bosses to your checklist.

Launching and initializing

Load into your world. The Boss Checklist Addon runs alongside the base Boss Checklist mod—no additional setup is required. Open your checklist menu to confirm all expected boss categories are present.

Organizing your hunting strategy

With many bosses tracked, plan which dimension or mod's bosses to tackle first. The checklist helps you avoid backtracking by showing which bosses remain. Some bosses may require specific gear or preparation—use your checklist as a roadmap to organize your progression.

Tracking progress over time

As you defeat bosses, your checklist updates automatically. This is especially valuable in large modpacks where you might forget which bosses exist or which you've already defeated. Regularly check your list to stay motivated and see how far you've progressed.
