Use Multiple Monitors Without Game Minimizing
Set Up Multi-Monitor Gaming
Borderless windowed mode keeps your game active even when you interact with content on other monitors.
Steps:
1. Enable borderless fullscreen by pressing F11
2. Position your Minecraft window on your primary monitor
3. Move your mouse to your secondary monitor — the game stays open
4. Click on windows, applications, or web browsers on your other monitor
5. Your Minecraft game continues running in the background
Switching Between Monitors
You can now multitask smoothly:
- Use Win + Tab to open your task switcher and view all open windows across monitors
- Click on Discord, a web browser, or any other app without your game minimizing
- Check chat messages, watch guides, or handle work tasks on one monitor while playing on another
- Return focus to Minecraft by clicking on it or using Alt + Tab
This setup is especially useful for streamers, players who chat frequently, or anyone who needs to reference guides while playing. The game remains fully responsive and doesn't pause or hide, giving you seamless access to both your game and other applications simultaneously.
