How to Move Minecraft to a Different Monitor Without Restarting

Using the Monitor Switch Button

If you run multiple displays, Borderless Mining adds a dedicated button in the video settings that lets you send the game to another screen. Open Options, then Video Settings, and find the monitor-switching control near the fullscreen option. Click it to cycle through the monitors your system reports. The game window jumps to the selected display right away, keeping your borderless mode intact.

Tips for Multi-Monitor Setups

Make sure the target monitor is powered on and detected by your operating system before you click the button, otherwise it will not appear in the cycle. If the window lands on the wrong screen or looks offset, switch back and forth once to let the window re-anchor. This is handy when you want the game on a secondary display while keeping chat, wikis, or a browser open on your primary screen. Because the mod keeps the window borderless, you can still drag your cursor across to the other monitor without the game losing focus or stuttering. The same button is available inside the Sodium video settings if you use Sodium, so you do not have to leave that menu to reposition the window.
