How to Use Borderless Mining

Switching to Borderless Windowed Mode

Borderless Mining changes Minecraft's standard fullscreen mode into a borderless windowed mode. Instead of a true exclusive fullscreen, the game fills your entire monitor without any window frame or title bar, so it looks identical to fullscreen while behaving like a window.

Once the mod is active, selecting fullscreen in the game's video settings gives you this borderless behavior. The practical effect is that Alt + Tab switching becomes instant. You can jump to a browser, music player, or chat window and back without the usual delay, and the black screen flicker that normally appears during task switching is gone.

The game also keeps running when you click outside the window, so it will not freeze or minimize on you. On multi-monitor setups this is especially handy, since the borderless window behaves like a normal window that can coexist with other applications on your other displays.
