How to Use Borderless Fullscreen Mod

Switching to Borderless Fullscreen

Borderless Fullscreen Mod changes how Minecraft handles fullscreen. Instead of the default fullscreen mode, the game runs in a borderless window that fills your screen. This removes the window frame and title bar, giving a cleaner look while still behaving like a normal window underneath.

To use it, open Minecraft's video settings and select the fullscreen option as usual. The mod takes over that behavior, so the game fills the display without the standard fullscreen toggle. Because it is technically a window, switching between Minecraft and other applications is smoother, and the game is less likely to minimize or flicker when you alt-tab.

This is especially handy on multi-monitor setups, where true fullscreen can lock the game to one display or cause other screens to go black. Borderless mode keeps your other monitors usable. The mod also adds more control over how the game is displayed, letting you adjust screen settings beyond what vanilla fullscreen offers.
