The Boosted Brightness Resource Pack is designed specifically to enhance visibility in dark underground areas. Use these strategies to mine safely and efficiently.

1. Set brightness moderately high in Video Settings—the pack's shader system means caves won't look washed out even at higher levels

2. Place torches strategically as you descend; the enhanced lighting will make them more effective as reference points

3. Bring a shield or helmet with a light-emitting enchantment if available, for additional visibility layers

Spotting Ores and Hazards

With boosted brightness, ore blocks become easier to identify by their distinct colors and textures. The improved lightmap also makes it simpler to:

• Spot lava and water before walking into them
• See hostile mobs at greater distances
• Identify valuable blocks like diamonds and emeralds

The pack maintains vanilla contrast, so you won't lose the ability to judge depth or distance. Adjust the brightness slider if caves feel too bright or too dim for your mining style.
