How to Use Bookshelf Inspector Mod

Inspecting Books in Chiseled Bookshelves

Chiseled bookshelves store books, but once placed, the individual volumes are hard to tell apart at a glance. Bookshelf Inspector Mod solves this by letting you identify a book without removing it.

To use it, simply aim your crosshair at a book inside a chiseled bookshelf. When you look at the book, the mod displays information about it: the type of book and its title. This works for the books stored in the shelf's slots, so you can tell which slot holds which volume before you take anything out.

This is useful when a shelf holds a mix of written books, and you want to find a specific one. Instead of pulling each book out to read its tooltip, you just look at the shelf and read the details on screen.

The mod is passive: it only adds information to your view. It does not change how books are stored, moved, or read, and it does not require any special item or action beyond looking at the book.
