Transfer Multiple Books Between Worlds Efficiently
Copying Several Books at Once
If you need to move multiple books to another world, you can do this systematically without losing any content.
Step 1: Copy Your First Book
Hold the first written book and use /bookcopy copy. This stores it temporarily.
Step 2: Switch Worlds and Paste
Move to your destination world, hold a blank book and quill, then type /bookcopy paste. Your first book is now copied.
Step 3: Return and Repeat
Go back to your original world. Hold the next book you want to copy and repeat the /bookcopy copy command, then switch worlds and paste again.
Step 4: Alternative Approach with Save
For faster transfers, use /bookcopy save on each book in your source world first. This stores all of them. Then switch to your destination world and paste each one as needed.
Efficiency Tips
- Saving books first is faster if you're transferring many books
- Keep track of which books you've already copied to avoid duplicating effort
- Consider organizing your books by category before transferring
