Save Your Book Changes Without Signing

Using the Confirmation Prompt

When you close a book and quill GUI while editing, the mod will display a confirmation screen instead of immediately discarding your work. This gives you a chance to decide what happens to your unsaved changes.

How to Save

1. While editing your book, click outside the GUI or press the key to close it (usually Esc)

2. A confirmation prompt will appear asking if you want to save

3. Select the option to save your changes — your edits will be preserved in the book

4. The book will close and remain unsigned, allowing you to edit it again later

Important Notes

Saving through the confirmation prompt keeps your book in edit mode. Your changes are stored in the book and quill item itself. You can reopen the book anytime to continue editing or make additional changes. This is different from signing the book, which finalizes it and prevents further edits.
