Discard Book Edits Intentionally

Choosing Not to Save

Sometimes you may want to close a book without keeping your recent changes. The Book and Quick Save Mod's confirmation screen lets you do this deliberately instead of accidentally.

How to Discard Changes

1. While editing your book, close the GUI by clicking outside it or pressing Esc

2. The confirmation prompt will appear

3. Select the option to close without saving

4. Your recent edits will be discarded and the book will revert to its last saved state

When This Is Useful

Use this option when you've made experimental changes you don't want to keep, or if you've been editing and realize you want to start over. The confirmation screen prevents you from accidentally losing work while still giving you control over what gets saved.
