Fixing Boats That Still Break on Landing After Installing the Mod

If your boat is still shattering on long falls, the mod is probably not actually running in that session. Work through these in order.

1. Confirm the mod appears in your mods list for the correct game version and loader.

2. Make sure any required dependencies are present — a missing dependency can silently disable the fix.

3. Check that you launched the profile that includes the mod, not a vanilla or different-modpack profile.

4. Reload the world or restart the game after enabling it, since some changes only apply on a fresh load.

If It Is Loaded But Still Fails

• Test in a brand-new world with only this mod plus its dependencies. If the boat survives there, another mod is likely conflicting with boat or fall-damage handling.
• Remove or disable other mods that touch boats, entities, or fall damage one at a time to isolate the culprit.
• Try a clean drop from a known height on flat ground to rule out terrain interfering with the landing.

Confirming the Fix Works

Ride a boat off a tall ledge and watch the landing. A working install keeps the boat intact and spares you the fall damage. If it breaks, revisit the checks above before assuming the mod is broken — in most cases it is a load-order or dependency issue rather than the fix itself failing.
