Finding and Identifying Dwarf Witches in Your World
Visual Recognition
Dwarf witches are significantly shorter than vanilla witches, making them stand out visually in your world. Their reduced height makes them easier to spot among other mobs and terrain features. The distinctive black cat sitting on each witch's shoulder serves as an instant identifier—if you see a small humanoid figure with a cat companion, you've found a dwarf witch.
Biome Locations
Witches spawn in the same locations as vanilla witches: swamps, witch huts, and during raids. The resource pack doesn't change spawn mechanics, only appearance. However, their smaller stature means they may be partially obscured by tall grass or water in swamp biomes more easily than before.
Night Hunting Tips
When searching for witches at night, look for the characteristic silhouette of the cat on the witch's back. The shoulder cat creates a distinctive outline that helps you distinguish witches from other hostile mobs like zombies or skeletons. Their cute appearance doesn't affect their danger level—they still drink healing potions and cast status effects as normal.
