Adjust Shader Settings for Your Computer's Performance
Access the Shader Options Menu
Open your Minecraft pause menu and look for Shader Options or Video Settings. Select the shader settings button to open the Bloop Official Shaders configuration panel.
Find Performance-Focused Settings
Look for toggles and sliders related to:
- Shadow Quality — Lower this if you're experiencing frame drops. Reducing shadow resolution is one of the fastest ways to improve performance.
- Ambient Occlusion — Disabling or lowering this can help on older computers.
- Reflection Quality — Water and surface reflections can be scaled down for better frame rates.
- Lighting Detail — Reduce if you want smoother gameplay on lower-end hardware.
Test Your Changes
After adjusting each setting, return to your world and observe frame rates in different environments—caves, forests, and open areas. Bloop is designed to scale, so you should find a balance where visuals remain appealing while maintaining smooth gameplay. Start by lowering one setting at a time so you can identify which changes matter most for your setup.
