Customize Aura Colors for Different Status Effects
Access the Configuration File
Locate your mod's configuration folder (typically in .minecraft/config/ or your server's config directory). Open the Blight Spark Visuals configuration file in a text editor.
Adjust Effect Colors
The mod assigns colors to status effects based on potion type. You can modify these mappings to match your preference:
- Beneficial effects (Strength, Speed, Regeneration) typically use warm colors like yellow, green, or gold
- Harmful effects (Poison, Wither, Slowness) use cooler or darker tones like purple, red, or black
Edit the color values in the config file—most mods use hex color codes or RGB values. Save your changes and reload your game or server.
Test Your Changes
Drink a potion or have a status effect applied to see your new colors in action. The aura should now display your customized palette. If colors don't appear as expected, verify the hex codes are formatted correctly and restart the game completely.
You can adjust individual effect colors independently, allowing creative control over how buffs and debuffs look around your character.
