Launch Yourself Across Long Distances

Loading the Cannon

Place your cannon on solid ground and position it to face your destination. Right-click to open the inventory and insert gunpowder. Each unit of gunpowder increases your launch distance—experiment with different amounts to find the range you need. The more gunpowder you load, the farther you'll travel. Gunpowder is not consumed, so you can reuse the same cannon repeatedly.

Taking Flight

Right-click the cannon to enter the barrel. You'll be positioned inside, ready to launch. Press Spacebar to fire yourself into the air. You'll be propelled forward in the direction the cannon is facing. The trajectory depends on the gunpowder amount you loaded—adjust as needed for different distances.

Tips for Success

Test your cannon in a safe area first to understand the distance. Build a landing platform or clear terrain at your destination. You can chain multiple cannons together for relay-style travel across your world. Aim slightly upward if you need to clear obstacles.
