Replace Day and Night Skies

Blackium includes custom sky textures for both day and night. These replace the default Minecraft sky with a more atmospheric, dark-themed appearance.

To see the custom skies:

1. Ensure the Blackium Resource Pack is enabled and ranked highest in your resource pack list

2. Load into a world or create a new one

3. Look upward during daytime—you'll see the custom day sky

Adjusting Sky Appearance

If the custom sky doesn't appear:

• Check that no other resource pack is overriding it (move Blackium to the top of your list)
• Verify your graphics settings aren't set to minimal
• Reload your world by exiting and re-entering

The custom skies work with all biomes and dimensions, though they're most noticeable in open areas like plains, oceans, and the End.
