Setting Up Your First Game

To begin playing chess, use the command /function chess:summon/summon to place a chess board into your world. Once the board is summoned, you and another player can each choose a side—one player takes white, the other takes black.

Making moves is straightforward: simply aim your crosshair at the piece you want to move, then aim at the destination square. The mod handles piece movement rules automatically, so you don't need to worry about illegal moves.
