How to Get the Right Server Plan Recommended for Your Modpack

Choosing a server plan is the part most players get wrong — too little RAM and a big modpack lags or crashes, too much and you overspend. The BisectHosting Server Integration Menu handles this by reading your loaded pack and suggesting a plan.

Letting the Mod Detect Your Pack

Launch the modpack you actually want to play and reach the main menu so the pack is fully loaded. Open the BisectHosting menu and start the server purchase flow. The mod inspects the pack you are running and presents a recommended plan matched to its demands. This recommendation accounts for how heavy the pack is, so a kitchen-sink pack gets a bigger suggestion than a lightweight one.

Adjusting the Recommendation

Treat the suggestion as a starting point. If you plan to run many players at once, bump up the player slots and consider more memory, since each additional player adds load. If you are playing solo or with one friend, you can often step down a tier and save money. The menu lets you customize RAM and slots before you commit.

If you are unsure, start at the recommended tier and upgrade later from the same menu if you see lag, chunk loading stalls, or crashes under load. Upgrading is easier than migrating a world to a new host, so erring slightly upward is usually the safer call.
