How to Find and Join Public Modded Servers Using the Menu

Besides selling servers, the BisectHosting Server Integration Menu doubles as a browser for public modded servers. This is handy when you want to play multiplayer without hosting anything yourself.

Browsing the Server List

Open the BisectHosting menu from the main menu or multiplayer screen and go to the public servers section. You will see a list of servers that have opted into being publicly listed. Each entry typically shows the server name, the modpack or mods it runs, and player counts. Because these are modded servers, the pack you have loaded needs to match the server's mods, or you will be rejected on connect.

Joining a Server

Click a server to view its details, then use the join button to connect. If the server runs a different modpack than yours, the menu may point you toward the matching pack so you can switch. If your mods line up, you drop straight into the world.

A few practical notes: check the server's rules and whether it uses a whitelist before joining, since some public listings still require approval. If a connection fails, the usual cause is a mod or version mismatch, so confirm your pack matches the server's before trying again.
