Display the Biome You're Looking At

Enable Crosshair Biome Display

BiomeInfo Mod can show you the name of the biome your crosshair is pointing at, useful for surveying terrain before traveling or planning builds.

Steps

1. Open your mod configuration menu (usually accessed via a mod menu button on the main screen or in-game)

2. Locate the BiomeInfo settings

3. Find the option to enable "Look-at biome" or "Crosshair biome display"

4. Toggle this setting on

5. Optionally adjust the display position and color to avoid overlapping with other HUD elements

What to Expect

Once enabled, when you look at a block or area, the biome name will appear on your screen (typically near your crosshair). This works through blocks and at distance, making it perfect for identifying biomes across mountains, oceans, or valleys without needing to travel there first. The display will only show when you're actively looking at a valid biome location.
