Switch Between Built-in Resource Packs

Access the Settings Menu

Open your Minecraft settings and locate the Big Water Mod configuration panel. This is where you manage which resource pack the mod uses to display your fluids.

Choose Your Pack

Three sample packs come pre-installed with the mod:

• Vanilla: Uses stretched versions of Minecraft's standard water and lava textures across 4×4 block grids
• Rekindled: Applies fire-themed fluid visuals, ideal if you want lava to feel more dramatic
• Stylized: Offers clean, simplified liquid appearances

Select the pack that matches your world's aesthetic. Changes apply immediately without requiring a world reload.

Fine-tune the Look

Each pack can be further customized using the texture scale slider in the same settings menu. Adjust the scale to control how stretched or compressed the fluid textures appear across blocks. Experiment with different values until the repetition feels broken up and natural to your eye.
