Make Text Larger on Signs

Opening the Enhanced Sign GUI

When you place a sign and open it for editing, you'll see the standard text input area along with new buttons added by Big Sign Writer Mod. These controls let you scale your text beyond vanilla limits.

Adjusting Text Size

1. Open your sign's GUI as normal

2. Look for the size or scale control buttons—these are typically located near the text editing area

3. Use the increase/decrease buttons to make your text larger

4. Type or paste your message into the text field

5. Preview the size in real-time before confirming

6. Click Done to save your sign

The larger text will now be visible from much greater distances than a vanilla sign. This is especially useful for shop signs, landmarks, or any text you want players to read from across your world. Experiment with different sizes to find what works best for your design—larger text uses more visual space on the sign face, so you may need to reduce the amount of text or use fewer lines.
