Combine Text Formatting with Larger Sizes

Big Sign Writer Mod works alongside vanilla sign features. You can still use color codes and formatting to make your enlarged text even more striking and readable from a distance.

Applying Formatting

1. Open your sign and enable text scaling to your desired size

2. Type your message using vanilla color and formatting codes (these work the same as normal)

3. Apply colors to different lines or words for emphasis

4. Consider adding borders or backgrounds using vanilla sign options if available

5. The combination of larger size + color makes text pop significantly

6. Save your sign

Larger text is already more visible, but strategic use of color makes it even better. Bright colors like yellow or lime green stand out well against most backgrounds. Dark text on light signs or light text on dark signs provides the best contrast. Avoid using multiple colors on a single line if the text is very large—it can become harder to read. Test your sign from a distance to ensure it's readable before finalizing.
