Locating the Reality Altar

The Reality Altar is a decorative and functional block that appears in specific dungeons and magical structures throughout the world. Search dark dimensions, corrupted areas, and boss arenas. You can also craft one if the mod config allows custom crafting recipes.

Crafting Spell Runes

The Reality Altar's primary function is combining upgrade materials into powerful spell runes. Place the altar in your base or carry it with you. Interact with it and insert:

• Upgrade orbs from defeated enemies
• Rune fragments from magic dungeons
• Arcane materials specific to each magic school

Upgrading Spellbooks

Once you've crafted runes, use them to enhance your spellbooks. Runes boost spell damage, reduce cooldowns, and unlock new abilities. Different runes correspond to different magic schools—Shadow runes enhance dark spells, Infinity runes amplify cosmic damage, and so on.

Optimization Tips

Prioritize runes that match your playstyle. If you favor Unstable magic, collect Unstable runes first. The altar's crafting system is central to progression, so establish a dedicated altar station early in your adventure.
