Recognize the Threat

STEVE_404 is a dangerous hostile mob that summons lightning strikes during combat. When you attack it, it becomes aggressive and pursues you relentlessly. This mob is significantly more powerful than standard mobs and should only be fought when you're well-prepared.

Prepare for Battle

Wear full enchanted armor with Protection enchantments if possible. Bring a strong sword and plenty of healing food. Fight in an open area where you can see incoming lightning strikes and have room to dodge.

Combat Strategy

Do not engage STEVE_404 in enclosed spaces—the lightning it summons can trap you. Attack from range if possible, then retreat to avoid the lightning strikes it triggers. Each attack you land increases its aggression, so be ready to flee if overwhelmed.

Know When to Retreat

If your health drops below half, disengage and heal. STEVE_404 will chase you, but you can outrun it by sprinting. Return to your base or a safe location to recover before attempting another engagement.
