Understand Sleep Deprivation Progression
How Debuffs Escalate
The no-sleep system is progressive: the longer you avoid sleeping, the worse your condition becomes. This encourages regular rest without making a single missed night catastrophic.
Debuff Timeline
First three nights awake. No penalties—you can work normally.
After three nights. Debuffs begin to appear. These affect your abilities and perception.
Continued sleep deprivation. Effects intensify and last longer. Mining becomes slower, combat effectiveness drops, and your vision or movement may be impaired.
Recovery Through Sleep
Sleeping through one full night resets your deprivation counter completely. You don't need to sleep multiple nights to recover—one night in a bed clears all accumulated fatigue and restores you to full health through the recovery effect.
Strategic Planning
Understand this progression to plan your activities. Long mining expeditions or dangerous ventures should be scheduled before your third consecutive night awake. If you feel debuffs approaching, prioritize finding a safe place to sleep.
