Prevent insomnia debuff buildup when players sleep

Understanding insomnia in Minecraft

Vanilla Minecraft applies an Insomnia debuff if players don't sleep for too long. This can make gameplay frustrating, especially on servers where not everyone sleeps at once.

Enabling insomnia reset

1. Open the BetterSleeping configuration file

2. Look for an option related to insomnia removal or debuff clearing

3. Enable this feature (set it to true or enabled)

4. Configure the threshold: how many players must sleep before insomnia resets for all players

5. Reload the plugin

How it works

Once enough players sleep to meet your configured percentage, the plugin automatically removes the Insomnia debuff from all players on the server. This happens even if those players weren't sleeping themselves.

Benefits

This prevents players from being punished for others' sleep schedules. A player who logs in after a night cycle won't carry over accumulated insomnia, keeping the experience smooth and fair.
