Set Up a Color-Coded Bundle Sorting System
Prepare Your Bundles
Dye your bundles in different colors to represent item categories. For example, use red bundles for ores, blue for wood types, and green for plants. Place one example bundle of each color into separate chests around your storage room—these act as templates.
Assign Golems to Storage Areas
Position copper golems near your storage chests. They will automatically pick up loose items and compare them against the template bundles in nearby chests. When a golem finds items matching a dyed bundle's contents, it will place those items into a bundle of the same color and store it in the appropriate chest.
Maintain Your System
Keep at least one full template bundle visible in each storage chest. The golems use these as reference points—without them, undyed bundles won't be sorted correctly. If you want to add a new item category, create a new dyed bundle with sample items and place it in a designated chest.
The golems will remember which items belong together and prioritize moving matching item types, so your system becomes more efficient over time.
