Reduce Chest Checking

Copper golems now remember the last item type they moved. To take advantage of this, keep your storage organized so similar items are grouped together. When a golem is carrying wood, for example, it will focus on chests containing wood rather than checking every storage location.

Arrange Chests Strategically

Place chests with the same item categories close to each other. This minimizes travel time and reduces the number of chests each golem needs to visit. Golems will stop re-checking chests if they're still holding the same item type, so proximity matters.

Use Multiple Golems

Assign different golems to different storage zones. One golem can handle your ore section while another manages your building blocks. This prevents bottlenecks and keeps items moving faster.

Configure Capacity

Adjust your golem's carry capacity in the mod configuration to match your needs. Higher capacity means fewer trips, but golems may take longer to deposit items.
