Handle Undyed Bundles Correctly
Understand Undyed Bundle Rules
Copper golems only place undyed bundles into a chest if that chest already contains a bundle with identical items inside. This prevents random undyed bundles from cluttering your storage. If you want undyed bundles to be sorted, you must first create a template bundle with the exact same items and place it in the destination chest.
Create Template Bundles
Before your golems can sort undyed bundles, prepare reference bundles with specific item combinations. For example, if you want to sort bundles containing "dirt and grass blocks," place one such bundle in your storage chest first.
Why This Matters
This system prevents golems from creating duplicate bundles with random contents. It ensures that only intentional, organized bundles get stored. If you find undyed bundles aren't being sorted, check that you have a matching template bundle in the destination chest.
Prefer Dyed Bundles
For most players, using dyed bundles is simpler and more reliable than managing undyed ones. Dyed bundles sort automatically by color without requiring template matching.
