How to Use the Better Zombies Resource Pack

Installing and Applying the Pack

Better Zombies is a resource pack, not a mod, so it works in normal vanilla Minecraft without any extra setup. Place the pack in your resource packs folder and enable it from the in-game resource pack menu. Once active, the textures apply automatically to the undead mobs you encounter.

What It Changes

The pack reskins the standard zombie, husk, drowned, and zombie villager. Each mob gets decayed textures with rotting flesh, weathered skin, and torn, stained clothing, giving them a creepier look during night encounters.

Optional Model Mods

The base texture changes need nothing else. If you also load compatible model mods, the pack can support extra monster animations and broken body parts for a spookier effect. Without those mods, the visual changes still work normally in vanilla worlds.
