Troubleshoot Missing or Misaligned Overlay Edges
Check Both Packs Are Active
The most common issue is that only one pack is enabled. Open your resource pack menu and confirm both the main Better Vanilla Building pack and the Overlays pack are in your active list. If either is missing, add it and reload.
Reload Resource Packs
If overlays appear broken or misaligned after updating, press F3 + T (or use the reload option in settings) to refresh your resource packs without restarting the game. This often fixes texture glitches.
Verify Pack Compatibility
Ensure both packs are designed for the same Minecraft version. Mismatched versions can cause overlays to fail or display incorrectly. Check that you're using the correct pack versions together.
Look at Specific Blocks
Test the overlays by placing grass next to dirt, or dirt next to stone. Stand close and look at the edge—you should see a blended texture. If edges are sharp or missing, the packs may not be loading correctly.
Clear Cache and Restart
If problems persist, close Minecraft completely, clear your resource pack cache (if your launcher has this option), and restart. This forces a fresh load of both packs.
