How to Unpack Items

Better Unpackables Data Pack adds recipes that break down certain crafted items back into their base components. This is useful when you need to recover materials or redirect resources without wasting them.

To unpack an item, place it in a crafting grid according to the pack's recipes. You'll receive the component materials that originally went into making that item. This gives you more control over your inventory and lets you reconsider your crafting decisions.

Not all items can be unpacked—only specific ones have unpacking recipes available. Experiment in your crafting menu to discover which items the data pack supports.
