Understanding Resource Pack Scope

The Better SpyGlass Resource Pack is client-side only, meaning it affects only your view of the spyglass. Other players on your server will see the default model unless they also install the pack.

Installing for Multiplayer

1. Add the resource pack to your resource packs folder

2. Enable it in your resource pack settings

3. Connect to any multiplayer server—the pack works on vanilla servers

4. Your spyglass will display the improved model in your inventory and hands

What Others See

When other players look at you holding the spyglass, they see the default model on their end. This doesn't affect gameplay or cause compatibility issues. The resource pack only changes your personal visual experience.

Coordinating with Friends

If your friends also want the improved spyglass appearance, they can install the same resource pack independently. This creates a shared aesthetic experience without requiring server-side modifications or mods.
