The Better Spider Remastered Resource Pack includes built-in model modifier micro-packs that let you change spider proportions without swapping resource packs entirely.

How to Change Leg Thickness

1. Open your resource packs folder in your Minecraft directory

2. Locate the Better Spider Remastered pack folder

3. Look for the model modifier options inside—these are typically organized by leg size preference (extended tall legs, stocky medium builds, etc.)

4. Enable or disable the variant you prefer by toggling it in your resource pack settings

5. Restart your game or reload chunks to see changes applied

Comparing Your Options

The pack offers a range from extended tall legs (giving spiders a more spindly, realistic look) to stocky medium builds (creating that chunkier, friendlier appearance). Test each variant in-game by visiting a cave or forest where spiders spawn naturally. This lets you see how the leg proportions feel during actual gameplay before committing to one style.

If you want to revert to vanilla spider legs, simply disable all model modifiers or remove the resource pack temporarily.
