Using Model Modifiers

The pack includes customizable model modifiers that adjust both leg size and body proportions. These micro-packs let you fine-tune how spiders look without replacing the entire resource pack.

Steps to Customize

1. Navigate to your resource packs folder and open the Better Spider Remastered directory

2. Locate the model modifier options—these control leg length, thickness, and overall spider build

3. Select the modifier that matches your preference (extended legs for a tall look, medium for balanced proportions)

4. Save your selection and reload your resource pack in-game

5. Spawn or find a spider to preview the changes

Finding Your Perfect Look

If you prefer spiders to look more intimidating, choose the extended tall leg variant. For a friendlier, more compact appearance, select the stocky medium build. You can experiment by switching between options and observing spiders in different lighting and terrain to see which feels right for your world.

Remember that cave spiders have their own compact proportions built in, so they'll scale differently than regular spiders.
