By default, many servers close your open chests and inventory screens when events or minigames start. Better Screens Mod prevents this interruption, letting you finish organizing items or reading chat without losing your view.

How It Works

Once installed, the mod automatically blocks server packets that force-close your menus. You don't need to configure anything—it works immediately.

What You Can Do

• Keep typing in chat while a minigame countdown begins
• Continue sorting items in your chest without the screen slamming shut
• Finish reading signs or books without interruption
• Stay in your inventory to swap armor or tools when events trigger

This is especially useful on multiplayer servers with frequent events. If a specific server's behavior still bothers you, check the mod's configuration file to fine-tune which types of closures to block.
