Better Respawn Mod changes how you should prepare for dangerous situations. Since you'll spawn near your death point, you can plan accordingly.

Before Exploring Dangerous Areas

1. Leave a bed nearby — Place a bed in a safe spot close to where you plan to explore. If you die and respawn nearby, you can quickly reach the bed to set a proper respawn point.

2. Carry essential supplies — Since you'll be near your death location, bring tools to recover items or defend yourself if needed.

3. Mark your path — Use torches or blocks to mark the way back to safety from your expected respawn area.

4. Avoid carrying everything — Leave valuable items at base so a death doesn't cost you everything.

After You Die

1. Assess your surroundings — You're near where you died, which may still be dangerous

2. Prioritize reaching the nearby bed — Get to safety first

3. Then retrieve items — Once safe, return to collect your drops

This strategy turns nearby respawning into an advantage by letting you plan escape routes and recovery points in advance.
