Adjust Respawn Distance Settings

Finding the Configuration File

Better Respawn Mod stores its settings in a configuration file. Access it through your mod folder or through an in-game config menu if your launcher provides one.

Configurable Distance Options

The mod allows you to set:

• Minimum distance — How close to your death point you can spawn (prevents spawning directly on hazards)
• Maximum distance — How far away you can spawn (controls the search radius)
• Bed detection range — How close you need to be to your bed for it to override the nearby respawn

Making Changes

1. Open the config file in a text editor

2. Locate the distance values (measured in blocks)

3. Adjust numbers to your preference — Smaller values keep you very close to death; larger values spread the spawn area wider

4. Save the file

5. Restart your world for changes to take effect
