How It Works

Better Rainbow Outlines automatically replaces your standard white block selection border with a smooth, color-cycling rainbow effect. Once installed, the feature activates immediately—no configuration needed.

What to Expect

When you point your crosshair at any block in the world, the outline will display a flowing rainbow color cycle instead of the vanilla white line. This works across:

• Survival and creative modes
• Multiplayer servers
• Adventure maps
• Both vanilla and modded blocks

The rainbow shifts smoothly to ensure the targeted block remains visible whether you're in a dark cave or bright sky. The effect is purely visual and does not affect block interaction, mining speed, or gameplay mechanics.

Confirming It's Active

Simply look at any block. If you see a colorful, shifting border instead of a plain white outline, the resource pack is working correctly. The rainbow will continuously cycle through colors as long as the block remains targeted.
