Managing Multiple P2P Configurations with the Advanced Memory Card

One card, one saved setup

The Advanced Memory Card holds the configuration you last copied. That means copying a new block replaces whatever the card was holding. If you juggle several different network layouts, plan around this single-slot behavior.

A workable workflow

  • Designate a reference block in the world for each distinct setup you use often. Copy from it whenever you need that configuration again.
  • Finish one paste job before copying a different source, so you do not lose the setup you were mid-way through applying.
  • Label or group your reference blocks in-world so you can find the right template quickly.

Scaling up

For large projects, configure a small cluster of reference blocks covering each role in your network, then copy from the matching reference as you build. This turns the card into a fast way to keep a sprawling point-to-point network uniform without memorizing settings. Always test a sample link after a batch of pastes, since a single overwritten block can disrupt routing. Treat the card as a copy buffer, not permanent storage: if a configuration matters, keep a physical block in the world that holds it.
