Fixing P2P Links That Don't Work After Pasting with the Advanced Memory Card
Common causes
A pasted block can look correct and still fail to pass a signal. The usual reasons are that the target block was not actually configured, that you pasted onto the wrong block or face, or that the source configuration referenced something that does not exist at the destination.
Troubleshooting steps
1. Re-copy from a block you know works, then paste again onto the problem block to rule out a bad copy.
2. Confirm you right-clicked the block itself and not an adjacent block or cable.
3. Check that both ends of the link exist and are configured, since a P2P connection needs a sender and a receiver.
4. Send a test signal through the network and watch where it stops.
When pasting is the wrong tool
The card copies settings, it does not create missing blocks or links. If your destination network is incomplete, pasting a configuration onto one block will not fill in the rest. Build the missing pieces first, then paste. Also remember that overwriting a block with a pasted config can silently change behavior you relied on, so if a link broke right after a paste, that paste is the first thing to suspect.
