Quickly Toggle Enhanced Name Rendering On and Off

Use the Keybinding for Fast Toggling

Instead of opening menus repeatedly, use the configurable keybinding to instantly toggle the mod's enhanced rendering.

1. Open Mod Menu from your inventory

2. Go to Better Name Visibility Mod settings

3. Locate the Keybinding option (default: + key)

4. Click and press your preferred key to rebind it

5. Close the menu

Quick Toggle in Action

Now you can press your configured key at any time during gameplay to toggle the mod on or off without opening any menus. This is useful when:

• You want to see vanilla name rendering temporarily for comparison
• You're in an area where enhanced names feel distracting
• You need to quickly reduce visual clutter during intense moments
• You're testing different settings and want instant feedback

Customization

Choose a keybinding that doesn't conflict with other mods or vanilla controls. Common alternatives to the default + include number keys or less-used punctuation marks. Your chosen keybinding is saved automatically and persists across game sessions.
