How Fairness Works in This Mod

The mod is designed so no single player can force the server into day or night against everyone's wishes. It balances convenience with player choice.

The Balance System

• One player can initiate: Any single player entering a bed starts the skip
• Others can veto: Awake players see a cancel option and can stop the skip immediately
• Immediate consequence: If someone cancels, the sleeping player is kicked from bed right away
• No forced waits: Players who cancel aren't punished; they can sleep whenever they want

Practical Scenarios

If you're mining at night and someone tries to skip, you can cancel and continue. If multiple people want to skip but one person is fighting mobs, that one person can cancel. This prevents griefing or annoying behavior where one player constantly forces time changes against the group's wishes.

Server Etiquette

Consider your server's culture. Some groups agree to skip nights automatically; others prefer discussion. Communication prevents conflicts over sleep cancellations.
