Obtaining Netherite Ingots from Piglin Brutes

Hunting Piglin Brutes Efficiently

Piglin brutes now drop netherite ingots when killed, making them a direct source of this rare material without needing to mine ancient debris.

Steps:

1. Travel to the Nether and locate a bastion remnant (where piglin brutes spawn)

2. Equip gold armor to prevent aggression from regular piglins

3. Engage piglin brutes carefully—they are hostile and deal significant damage

4. Collect the netherite ingot drops

Safety Tips

Bring healing items and consider using a shield for protection. Piglin brutes ignore gold armor, so they will still attack you. Fight in open areas to avoid being cornered. If you're low on health, retreat and heal before continuing.

This method provides a faster alternative to mining for netherite, though it requires combat skill and access to the Nether.
