Setting Up a Goat Farm

Goats are now valuable mobs worth farming. With this mod, killing goats drops goat horn, mutton, and white wool—making them a reliable source of multiple materials.

Steps:

1. Build an enclosed pen in a snowy or mountainous biome where goats naturally spawn, or use a spawner if available

2. Create a killing mechanism (fall damage, suffocation, or mob grinder) to dispatch goats efficiently

3. Collect the dropped goat horn, mutton, and white wool from the ground

Maximizing Drops

Use a hopper system beneath your killing zone to automatically collect all drops into chests. This prevents items from despawning and keeps your farm hands-free.

Goat horn is particularly useful for crafting and decoration, while mutton can be cooked for food. White wool is valuable for building and dye crafting. Consider building your farm near your base for easy access to the materials.
