Fix Missing Mob Attack Animations

Identify Animation Problems

If mobs appear to freeze mid-attack, swing weapons without moving their arms, or skip animation frames entirely, your Better Mob Combat add-on is out of sync with your current Better Combat version.

Apply the Fix

1. Ensure Better Mob Combat Fix Mod is installed alongside your Better Combat mod

2. Load your world or create a new one

3. Spawn or encounter mobs in combat situations

4. Watch for smooth attack sequences—mobs should now swing weapons, lunge, and perform combat moves with complete animation chains

5. If animations still appear broken, verify both mods are the same version generation

Verify Success

Attack a mob and observe:

• Weapon swings complete from start to finish
• Mob movement syncs with attack timing
• No frozen frames or skipped poses
• Combat feels responsive and natural

If problems persist after confirming mod installation, check your game log for compatibility warnings with other installed mods.
