Understanding the Wave Block Effect
What the Wave Effect Does
When you perform a mace smash attack, blocks in the surrounding area animate with a wave-like motion. This effect:
- Radiates outward from the impact point
- Creates a visual ripple through nearby blocks
- Enhances the visual feedback of a powerful strike
- Does not destroy, break, or permanently alter blocks
Visual Customization
The wave effect is a client-side visual enhancement. The blocks themselves remain intact after the animation completes. This means:
- Your terrain stays unchanged after smashing
- The effect works on all block types
- It's purely for aesthetic impact and immersion
- Multiple smashes in the same area will layer the visual effects
The wave animation helps communicate the force and power of your mace strike, making combat feel more dynamic and satisfying without affecting survival gameplay or building.
